If you are involved in a particular ministry at Notre Dame des Victoires, we are very grateful for the life you breathe into our parish. If you are not involved in a ministry, then prayerfully review the ministries below and ask God to direct where you can share your time and talent with others.
Lectors or readers proclaim God’s Word at Mass and other liturgical celebrations. A love of God’s Word and prayerful preparation is necessary to fulfill this ministry successfully.
The name "Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion" is used to denote a lay person who assists the priest in administering the sacrament of holy communion, by distributing the consecrated bread and wine to the congregation. They may also take the sacraments to those who are ill, or otherwise unable to attend Mass.
Altar servers have the privilege of assisting the priest in the sanctuary during the Mass and other liturgical functions. You can learn more about the guidelines of being an altar server from the USCCB, here.
The Hospitality team is a group of volunteer parishioners responsible for the Hospitality-after-Mass in the Church Hall, offering food and beverages every Sunday after the 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and 12:15 pm Masses. Hospitality is our way of welcoming our neighbors: to share, listen, and care. It is a great way to meet new people, to get to know other parishioners better and to greet visitors to our wonderful city of San Francisco!
